Early secondary characters create adversity which helps character development and to form Jane's sense of self worth and disconnect from conventional ideals.
i find this interesting! i'm really curiious about which character you will be using and whether they will all be positive or negative influences, or both, i also agree with tim
Oh yes, you're right, Tim. My grammar am not well. Do you think that "disconnect" is the wrong word? I don't want it to sound like she is ignorant to the conventional ideals, but chooses to be independent of them if they prove illogical.
Perhaps, in a new sentence:This newfound self worth causes her to reject conventional ideology or the status quo(pick your poison). You're a better writer than myself. I'm sure you've come up with something more creative already.
Good, but maybe replace "and to form" with "and the formation of".
